Four years after Sunanda Pushkar's death, the Delhi Police on Monday filed a chargesheet in the Patiala High Court. The police has also named the Congress leader and Pushkar's husband Shashi Tharoor as an accused in the case. Police have filed a case under section 306 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) which pertain to abetment to suicide and cruelty. Reports said that if convicted, the maximun punishment will be a three-year jail term and a fine.
