The road to my Aston Martin Vantage GT8 continues! Previously we've seen the body shell being painted Cobalt Blue and then earlier stages of the production line during the powertrain marriage; the moment the engine and gearbox meet the upper body. This time it's back for what's known as Final Trim where parts like the wing are installed but we also seek out other components including the seats in manufacture.

The highlights though have to be the opportunities to personalise the car that little bit more but putting my signature directly onto the chassis and the driver's seat headrest!

I cannot thank Aston Martin enough for this fantastic opportunity to be able to bring you the look behind the scenes at the build process of my Vantage GT8. On both a personal level with the storyline for my own car and also the content I'm able to bring to you guys, it's absolutely wonderful.

I hope you enjoy this amazing opportunity, and equally the content that is to come as the car moves along the line and ultimately continues on the Road to GT8.
