Expert's take on three-way summit between S. Korea, Japan and China

Let's get an expert's opinion on the trilateral summit in Tokyo between leaders of South Korea, Japan and China.
Joining me in the studio is Professor Song Se-ryun from Kyung Hee University.
Thanks for coming in to talk to us about this meeting that couldn't come at a more opportune, but also critical time for the Korean peninsula.

President Moon Jae-in went into this summit on a high,.. following his successful hosting of the inter-Korean summit. What messages do you think he had for his Japanese and Chinese counterparts in regards to the North Korea situation?

The world is abuzz with the news that U.S. President Donald Trump decided to pull the plug on the Iran nuclear deal. Trump's critics are concerned the move could potentially derail efforts to get North Korea to abandon its nuclear weapons. Do you think the three leaders in Tokyo today share those concerns?

President Moon will also hold separate one-on-ones with the leaders of Japan and China. What are the key issues the South Korean leader will want to focus on during those conversations?

Ok, Professor Song, as always... we appreciate for insights. And we hope to see you back here in the studio before too long. Thank you.
