Come Outside: Series 2: Dandelions

Auntie Mabel finds some dandelions growing in her garden. She tells the story of how they came to be there. One day, she and Pippin had flown to the city for a day out. They saw tall buildings and busy streets full of traffic and people. In this urban environment Auntie Mabel had been surprised to see a dandelion plant growing in a crack in the concrete. Pippin sneezed on the dandelion’s seed head and some seeds landed on her coat. They travelled on Pippin’s back all the way to Auntie’s garden where they took root and grew into new dandelion plants.
