Star Wars day in Taiwan's presidential office

Darth Vader, R2D2, the wookiee Chewbacca, stormtroopers and a host of other characters took over Taiwan's presidential office as fans of the Star Wars franchise marked May 4th, aka Star Wars day. Fans who dressed as stormtroppers and rebel fighters marched the compound in the company of regular military police guards in what the presidential office said "was specially meaningful as opposing troops join hands" to guard its security.
