Marsha Raven - Seek And You Shall Find

"Seek And You Shall Find" was an absolutely brand new track for my album "Northern Soul 2007". Marsha Raven is a black American female singer, who comes from Detroit. She was another of the hugely popular high energy diva of the 1980's. Her first big record was "I Like Plastic" and went absolutely massive at Heaven, and resulted in Passion Records signing her. She made two monster floorfillers with them, "Catch Me I'm Falling In Love" and "False Alarm". Marsha then left Passion and signed to Record Shack, with the anthem, "Stranger In Disguise", and then went to South Africa for the Record Shack Tour with Evelyn Thomas, Earlene Bentley, Barbara Pennington, and Laura Pallas. After I left Record Shack, I brought her over to Nightmare Records and recorded the song, "That Jealous Sensation", which she performed in 1987 at Heaven, for the famous party night, "A Nightmare On Villiers Street". Later on, in the early 1990's, I completed her "Best Of Marsha Raven" album. Marsha used to make a living touring England as a Tina Turner impersonator.
