Paul Johnston gives us a review of the 2001 E1 model Kawasaki Ninja, as he tests it's performance and handling, as well as comparing it to it's predecessors and main rivals. This model has further reduced it's overall weight down to 183kg, but has increased the engine performance which now puts out a healthy 144bhp, giving it a very impressive power-to-weight ratio.
