The three and five-door Golf hatchback is by far and away the most popular variant of Volkswagen’s evergreen family car. While the entry-level S model is aggressively priced while still well equipped compared to rivals, the more expensive GT packs enough luxury kit and technology to justify its higher cost. The petrol and diesel engine ranges are both impressive.
