Death Toll Rises Following Explosions in Kabul

At least 25 people were killed and 49 others wounded in two explosions in Kabul city early on April 30, TOLO News reported, citing local officials.Pajhwok Afghan News said a suicide bomber on a motorcycle detonated his explosives in the high-security Shashdarak neighborhood of Kabul, close to the National Directorate of Security (NDS) office, during rush hour. The second blast occurred around 20 minutes later, when journalists and authorities congregated at the area, the outlet reported.At least seven journalists were killed in the attack,Pajhwok Afghan News said.
