Group of seals sunbathing at a beach in Cornwall

++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN LOOPED++ A large group of seals was spotted making the most of the sunshine at a beach in Cornwall.

The footage shows more than twenty seals lying on the sand close to the seashore.

The filmer writes: ‘’I was out running a section of the South West Coast Path from St Ives to Chapel Porth.

‘’I glanced down into yet another beautiful cove to see the view and noticed this one was different: it had 20 seals basking in it.

‘’I’ve seen the odd one bobbing about in the sea but never seen so many sunbathing like this. What a treat.’’

The clip was filmed on February 22.
