DENEB KAITOS è una band tutta italiana di recente formazione.
È composta da Carlotta Limonta (Voice&Eletronics), Jacopo Pierazzuoli (Drums), Diego Pennati (Bass).
Tutti i suoi membri hanno alle spalle diversi anni di esperienza nella musica e apportano alla band il proprio bagaglio culturale.
Carlotta si è formata inizialmente sul linguaggio pop, per poi dedicarsi al jazz e, soprattutto, al soul. Questo si riflette nei loop e nelle melodie che prendono in prestito l'esperienza dello scat jazzistico nel sostituire gli strumenti di accompagnamento, ma si sciolgono, poi, in frasi distese ed orecchiabili.
Jacopo frequenta giovanissimo l'ambiente hardcore e tutto l'underground della musica indipendente. Con già alle spalle i primi dischi intraprende, più tardi, lo studio del jazz. L'incontro-scontro dei due mondi ha come risultato una batteria dal sound energico e presente del mondo rock, ma con la ricerca ritmica e liricità delle avanguardie.
DENEB KAITOS is a recently born Italian band.
Its members are Carlotta Limonta (Voice&Electronics), Jacopo Pierazzuoli (Drums), Diego Pennati (Bass).
All members come from several experiences in live music and bring their own cultural baggage to the band.
Carlotta was trained in pop language, then dedicated herself to jazz and -most of all - to soul. This path is mirrored in her vocal loops and melodies, inspired by jazz scat when substituting instruments in the accompaniment but then melted in extensive and catchy leads.
In his younger years Jacopo joined the hardcore genre and the underground scene of independent music. Already having several records in his career, he later started studying jazz. The clash encounter of these two worlds resulted in a drummer that is pushy and active as in the rock genre, but also has the rhythmic complexity and lyricism of the vanguards.
