India at 2018 CWG: Eleven medals including 3 gold on day 9

Indian athletes claimed 11 medals at Gold Coast Commonwealth Games on day nine. Wrestlers, shooters, boxers and paddlers added to the medals tally. These included three gold medals - two in shooting and one in wrestling. There were four silver and four bronze medals as well. But there was disappointment from the hockey field with the Indian men losing their semifinal match to New Zealand. With the women having already lost their semifinal match, both the hockey teams will now play for bronze. India continues to be at the third position with 17 gold.
