Tutorial on how to cook beets in the microwave. \r
\r
Step 1: Cut tops of beetroot off\r
Step 2: Rinse beets clean with water \r
Step 3: Place beetroot into a microwave safe container \r
Step 4: Pour a little bit of water inside container\r
Step 5: Place lid lightly on top or cover with saran plastic wrap\r
Step 6: Cook in microwave for approximately 5 minutes (depends on your microwave) (You can cook it longer if you want it softer) \r
Step 7: After removing from microwave let beets cool before peeling\r
Step 8: Cut and serve. Enjoy!\r

(Beets are cooked when you can easily insert a fork or the tip of a knife into the beet.)\r
