A mammoth 62-feet tall, 750-tonne Hanuman statue which is to be installed at Kacharakanahalli in East Bengaluru has caused inconvenience to many residents of Hennur area in Bengaluru. The 300- wheel vehicle ferrying the statue was stalled at Hoskote fearing poll conduct violation following which it was stranded ahead of Railway Bridge on Hennur road as the vehicle was too tall to pass through the corridor. The transporters decided to dig the road to make way for the vehicle which led to massive traffic jam in surrounding areas as well.
