Much needed rainfall in most parts, lingering into Friday _ 040418

Good afternoon. Most parts of Korea will see a big drop in temperatures along with rain. Beijing is also having a rainy start to the day.

Rain that started in the northern parts last night is spreading to the southern areas so Seoul will have partly cloudy skies for the rest of the day while down south there will likely be rain until late at night.

Temperature-wise, those in the southern provinces will notice a big drop in afternoon temperatures today, Gyeongju and Daegu had a small heat wave yesterday reaching the upper 20's but that will drop down to the low teens today.

Gyeongju will get up to 10 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Busan will rise to 12 and 14 degrees, while Seoul will make it to 17 degrees with some sunshine expected,

Tomorrow another band of rain is in store nationwide from the early morning, and it will linger into Friday. Expect to have much cooler readings from tomorrow into the weekend.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

Most of South Korea will notice much cooler temperatures due to rain, and many regions in North Korea will have similar weather to the South.

As for the rest of Asia, readings will soar again this week across much of India. Expect to face the worst of the heat as temperatures soar past 38 degrees through at least Friday

There is a wind warning in effect for southern Wellington county, with wind gusts of up to 90 km/h expected Wednesday.

Heading to North America, rain returns on Tuesday evening in Vancouver while Wednesday is forecast to be cloudy.

As for South America, there will be nothing but sunshine in Santiago and Buenos Aires.

Taking you to Europe,... Wednesday will begin with some sun in Berlin before rain clouds with scattered thunder storms move in later in the day.

Lastly to Africa, Tripoli will have unseasonably warm highs at 30 degrees.
