The Chancellor has said that full-fibre broadband will “drive a Britain fit for the future”, with small businesses set to benefit from a multi-million pound boost to online connections. Phillip Hammond MP visited the Openreach Training Centre in Bradford on Thursday, where 3,500 new engineers are set to be hired as the firm accelerates its superfast broadband rollout.
