London-based songwriter Carmody weaves her candid lyrics of love and heartbreak into sparse electronic-soul earworms, emerging - with over 27 million streams to date - from the same vibrant South-East London DIY scene as Tom Misch, Loyle Carner and Alfa Mist – all recent collaborators. Fresh from selling out London’s Omeara, opening for Tom Misch at Somerset House and playing a storming set at Lovebox Festival - and with support from Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, and the hugely influential Majestic Casual and Mahogany Blog - Carmody is an artist to keep a close eye on.
