00:04Hey there, welcome to the club. Today I'll be showing you how to draw Boris from Bendy and the Ink

00:09Machine.

00:10Let's get started at the top of our page with the eyes.

00:12So I'm going to start by drawing an oval with an open end on the left side.

00:16So starting on the inside, we'll go out, down, and then up.

00:21Leaving a little gap, we'll draw a little sideways V notch on the inside.

00:25Let's go ahead and colour that in black.

00:30We're going to step over towards the right and do the same thing.

00:32Starting on the inside here, going up to the top, coming around, back up.

00:38We'll draw that little sideways notch, V, and we'll colour that in black.

00:47Let's go up in between the eyes, straight up here and draw a curvy light that goes up, and then

00:50just alongside the left eye.

00:52Starting in the middle, we'll go up, and we'll just pull this alongside the left eye.

00:58From here, I'm just going to draw the snout.

01:00We're going to draw a curve from here, curving out and then down towards the left.

01:05Right in here, we're going to draw an oval for the nose.

01:07Start from the top, circle around, and then back up.

01:12We'll colour that in black.

01:21Along the edge of the nose, we're going to draw some wrinkles.

01:23Starting down here, just draw a little curve going across.

01:27One up here, and then one just in between the eyes, just below.

01:32At the bottom of the nose, we're just going to draw a little curve.

01:34From here, we're going to go down, and we'll just pull that up.

01:38We're going to do an overlap and curve all the way up the side to the right eye.

01:42Curving down, we're just going to pull this up, all the way up the side to the right eye here.

01:47We'll draw a little wrinkle line here.

01:49So right up here, we'll draw a little curve.

01:51It goes across like that.

01:52At the bottom of these curves, we're going to draw the teeth.

01:55So on the left side, we'll draw two short lines coming down.

01:59Close it off along the bottom of the straight line.

02:01We'll draw one more here.

02:03Two lines straight down, and then a straight line across the bottom.

02:07Now we're going to draw the bottom of the mouth, going all the way up to this point here.

02:11So below this tooth, we'll step down, curve around, and now we're going to make our way

02:15all the way up to the point in the cheek there.

02:18The bottom here, we're going to draw some teeth.

02:20So in the corner, we'll draw a little curve, like a little half circle.

02:24Move over, draw one more time.

02:27Now behind this tooth, we're going to draw the back side of the mouth.

02:29We're going to curve, and just follow that curve all the way up underneath the top of

02:33the mouth.

02:34Let's color the inside of the mouth in black.

02:48Now we're going to draw the back side of the mouth.

02:50Just above this tooth, we're going to draw a curve, going all the way across, and then

02:54up.

02:55On the side of the tooth, we're going to curve around the lip, going around like this.

03:01Now from here, at the bottom, we're going to curve the bottom of the jaw.

03:04Right here, we're going to curve around, come up to about halfway up the mouth.

03:09We're going to curve around and out, and then back in, just beside the cheek.

03:14Going out, and we're going to swirl this back in like that.

03:19From the center, we're going to go up above the right eye, and make our way in towards

03:22that point.

03:24Going up, and then down.

03:28Let's draw in the ears.

03:30So at the top of this curve, we go up and out towards the left.

03:34We're going to pull back down, and get a little bit wider as we come down to right about there.

03:39We'll go straight across the top.

03:42Now we're going to go up again.

03:43We're going to curve up to the top.

03:45Now from here, we're going to curve all the way down towards the cheek.

03:48Just tucking that in behind there.

03:53Underneath the jaw, we're going to draw the neck in an angle this way.

03:55So starting at the front of the neck, we'll draw a straight angle line.

03:59We're going to step over and just taper inwards.

04:02Coming in so it's a little bit narrower here.

04:04Let's draw on the outsides of the arm.

04:06So from this point, we're going to curve just below the chin, out towards the wrist.

04:12Out.

04:13Do the same thing on the right side.

04:15Starting from this side of the neck, curve out, and then down.

04:21We're going to go just below this arm here, right about here, and curve the inside part

04:24of the arm.

04:25Curving around.

04:26Just pulling that same curve down to the same height.

04:29We'll do the same thing on this side.

04:31We're going to leave a big gap in the center.

04:33So right here, curve and just pull that arm all the way down towards the wrist.

04:37Now for the body, we've basically got two parts.

04:39The upper chest and the lower torso.

04:42So from here, we're going to curve out, and then just pull that in.

04:46Do one more.

04:47Curving out, and we'll just pull that in.

04:50On this side, we're just going to draw one curve going all the way down.

04:52So from here, we're going to go around the back, and pulling that forward to the same

04:57height.

04:59Let's go back to the left side and draw on this hand.

05:01So from these two points, we're just going to overlap it with a curve.

05:05Go across.

05:06Now on the ends, we're just going to curl them back in.

05:10From this point, I want to draw on the thumb.

05:12So we're going to go out, round it out, and just pull it back in towards the hand.

05:17Now we're going to draw one index finger coming down.

05:19So from here, we're going to go down, and just pull that back up.

05:24We're going to draw two more fingers curled in.

05:26So from this point, we're going to do one little half circle.

05:29We'll do one more, and then just pull this right in towards the wrist.

05:33And in the back of the hand, we're going to draw three short lines side by side.

05:37Let's take that hand, flip it over on the right side.

05:39So we're going to overlap those two lines with a curve, round up the ends, pulling them

05:45in towards each other.

05:46Now we're going to draw on the thumb.

05:48Going in, rounding it out, pulling it back towards the hand.

05:52Index finger, we're going to come down, and curl this back up, and we're going to draw

05:58those two little knuckles.

05:59So one half circle, and then the second one will go all the way around in towards the wrist.

06:05In the back of the hand, we're going to draw three short lines.

06:09Let's go ahead and work our way down the leg.

06:11So from the front of the lower torso, we're going to curve out towards the left, and then

06:15down.

06:16Draw that twice.

06:17So we're going to step down at an angle, and then just draw that same curve coming down.

06:21Now this bottom of the torso is going to continue all the way back here, but one of the gaps

06:25for the leg and the tail.

06:27So from this side, we're going to curve across.

06:30We're going to do that same thing.

06:32Curving down.

06:34We're going to step over and draw that same curve.

06:37Curving down.

06:38Now we're going to connect those two points, but we're going to leave a little gap in the

06:43middle right here for the tail.

06:44So we're going to start at the bottom of the tail, curving out towards the right.

06:49We're going to round it out, and pull it back in.

06:52I'm going to draw a slightly longer one.

06:54Going out, and we'll just pull that back in.

06:58Now the third one's going to go out, and then just kind of make its way in towards that

07:01point.

07:02We're going to go out.

07:03I want to bring this really tight in, and right into about there.

07:07We're just going to close off this gap with a curve.

07:11Let's draw in the right foot.

07:13So from the ankles, we're just going to draw a little half circle on either side, a little

07:16bracket.

07:18On the heel side, we're going to curve down towards the bottom of the foot.

07:22We're going to curve the bottom of the foot across.

07:25Down the middle, over towards the left.

07:28We're going to draw a little half circle for the top of the foot.

07:31Going up, and then down.

07:35We're going to draw one more bump, going across like this, and we'll connect those two points

07:39with a straight line.

07:40At the front of the toe, we want to draw a little highlight.

07:43So we're going to start with a little curve.

07:46We're going to round up the ends.

07:49We're going to follow that same curve back up, making those two points.

07:53Draw the exact same foot on the back side.

07:56Start with the little brackets on either end.

07:59Curve the heel, coming down.

08:02Now we're going to draw the bottom of the foot, curving over towards the toe.

08:07Draw the top of the foot, going up and down.

08:12Draw that little bump.

08:14Then we'll draw a straight line to close off the leg.

08:17Now here we're going to draw that same highlight.

08:19Starting with that curve on the front.

08:21We're going to round up the ends.

08:24Now we're going to connect those two points with a curve on the inside.

08:28And that is pretty much it.

08:30There we have it.
