Rebel Entertainment includes development talent from companies like Atari, Zynga, Electronic Arts and Disney, and Dungeon Rampage includes mechanics taken from the ion role-playing genre and from the MMO space.\r

Mike Goslin, the general manager at Rebel Entertainment, stated, Dungeon Rampage has introduced real-time multiplayer to the social gaming arena with fantastic early results. In the few months that weve been in beta, players of all ages and skill levels have rampaged together in dungeons more than 47 million times and slayed more than 1.3 billion monsters in the process, and were just getting started.\r

Our game play is a lot more like an arcade title, Goslin said. Its easy to play, but hard to master.\r

Rebel is funded completely by IAC. Previously, IAC launched InstantAction, a web game publisher that it shut down a while ago. Dungeon Rampage will officially launch later this year on multiple platforms. Goslin said the company will add more features, heroes, maps, and weapons.\r
