hey everyone its Angelina im back again and this time Im going to be discussing\r
travel nurses salaries so I know that its a very commonly asked question its\r
googled all the time as well and i can say with confidence that the highest\r
salaries that I saw as a travel nursing recruiter for about six years was about\r
four thousand dollars in one week so yeah she made really good money she was\r
working a crisis contr and was able to totally pay off her daughter\r
tuition and her mortgage and so ill go into detail in this video about travel\r
nurses salaries and the pay package breakdown and what to expect really want\r
to help empower you to make the right choices in your career when it comes to\r
the packages that you are accepting know that when you go online to research\r
information on travel nurses salary you get really bombarded with information\r
and the salary ranges are kind of vague and very broad well just to keep in mind\r
that a most of the information online is put out by travel nursing agencies and\r
lead generation systems so when it comes to looking at a travel nurses salary it\r
can be really difficult to compare a travel nurse in salary with a permanent\r
staff nurses salary for a few reasons travel nurses have additional expenses\r
that permanent staff positions just dont have so travelers have to travel\r
they need to pay for their licensure fees and they need to be have updated\r
health records just just various expenses that you wouldnt even think\r
about they also do not incur vacation pay\r
so if they take any time off theyre not getting paid for it\r
and lastly and they can be eligible for non tax income being all about into\r
consideration i can say with confidence that its probably safe to say that \r
typical traveling nurse in the year 2016 can make anywhere from probably 60,000\r
thousand per year more or less depending on a few different f some agencies do\r
offer sign\r
income as well ive seen them very high you know 25 thousand dollars so look out\r
for those and then there are kind of special contrs as well those include\r
crisis contrs rapid\r
conversions you are new to the travel nursing industry and you are just\r
getting into it\r
one thing that you i really really encourage you to research and to fully\r
understand is the bill rate so basically what that is is the hospital pays your\r
agency a certain rate to have you work for them so everything thats included\r
in your pay package comes out of your bill rate you remember anything from\r
this video if you take anything away with yo\r
please note that nothing I repeat nothing in this industry is free so\r
youll see all of these agencies advertising free housing tax free money\r
free health benefits free travel but know that the hospital pays them a\r
certain pill rates and everything thats included in your pay package all of\r
their offers come out of that bill ray so ultimately anything thats included\r
in your pay package will affect eat the ultimate bottom line so how much money\r
youre bringing home\r
so there are a few main components that will affect your pee as a traveling\r
nurse so number one is location every hospital has its own bill rate that it\r
