00:00Hey friends, today we're going to be drawing a psychosaurus. Yeah! High five!
00:04Okay! Yeah!
00:11Yeah, today we're going to be drawing an awesome dinosaur and the instructions are actually taken from our cool e
00:16-book.
00:16Yeah! How many dinosaurs are in here? 50! Yeah, there are awesome!
00:2050 dinosaurs in here and there's 50 coloring pages. So we printed it out but it's actually a digital download
00:26and so you go over to our store and purchase it for $4.99 and it's got 50 dinosaurs in
00:33there
00:33and there's a list over on our website of which dinosaurs are in this e-book.
00:38But there's a lot of them. Look at that, Brachiosaurus.
00:41So there's the instructions and then there's also a coloring page for each of the dinosaurs.
00:47So we'll leave a link below this video where you can hop over to our website and check it out
00:51and purchase it
00:52or just learn more about it.
00:54Alright, you ready to draw a stegosaurus? Yeah!
00:56Okay, let's do it!
00:57So here are the step-by-steps for the stegosaurus and we're just going to use these to follow along
01:01with.
01:02So if you do print out the e-book, each of the steps are marked with red.
01:07So the new steps are red and then the old steps are black so you know what to draw next.
01:12You actually don't have to print it out. You can just put it on an iPad or a computer or
01:16even your phone.
01:18Alright, you ready for the first step? Yeah!
01:19Okay, it's up here on the top so we're going to draw the front of his head and we're going
01:23to do it down here kind of in the bottom left so that we have room for his whole body.
01:28Okay? Okay.
01:29So down here we're going to draw that kind of funny shape. It comes down like that and then comes
01:35back up and makes kind of a cheek shape over here.
01:40Almost looks like a horse.
01:43Good!
01:44Okay, now the next step is we're going to draw his mouth and we're also going to put his eye
01:49in there.
01:52There we go.
01:53And then now we're going to draw the top of the eyebrow that goes over his eye.
02:00Sweet! And if we go too fast, what can our friends do?
02:03Pause the video!
02:03Yes, you guys can pause the video.
02:06Alright, okay, now we're going to draw his neck.
02:08So we're going to draw one line that comes out of the top of his head and then one line
02:12down here at the bottom.
02:14And they're getting farther apart.
02:17Good! And then this one down here.
02:23Good!
02:24Okay, now we can draw a little wrinkle over his eye and underneath his eye.
02:30And then also his nostril.
02:33And then we're also going to draw this little piece of skin that's underneath his neck.
02:40Kind of like a turkey.
02:45Nice turkey.
02:47Okay, now we're going to draw.
02:49So we're on step five.
02:50We're going to draw his front leg.
02:52So we're going to draw an elbow shape or a bent line like that.
03:00I should have probably moved my head over a little further like you.
03:03And then we're going to draw the other part of his leg bent over here.
03:10Okay, now we're on step six.
03:11So let's draw his belly line first.
03:13So we'll come down here.
03:15We're going to draw his belly.
03:17Now we're going to draw his back leg.
03:20And you could probably draw it maybe even a little bit longer.
03:24There you go.
03:26And now we're going to draw his big back leg.
03:29So it's going to come down and bend right where that line is.
03:32His belly line.
03:34Good!
03:35And then let's draw the back part of his leg.
03:38So a line like that.
03:40And then another line that comes out.
03:44Awesome!
03:45Now I'm going to have to maybe change mine just a little bit because I'm running out of room.
03:49But now let's draw the top of his back.
03:52So we're going to draw this line that comes up, over, and then back down.
04:01Good!
04:02Okay, now we're on step seven.
04:03So let's draw his tail.
04:05So we're going to start with this line that curls around.
04:10Nice!
04:12Good job!
04:13Now we're going to draw the top part of his tail.
04:19Good!
04:20Okay, now we can draw his plates on his back.
04:22Okay.
04:23These little spikes.
04:24So let's draw these first two.
04:25They're kind of upside down V's and they're smaller.
04:28But the second one gets a little bigger.
04:32Okay.
04:33And then we're going to draw a really big one.
04:35Right next to it.
04:40And draw another big one.
04:44This one's even bigger, huh?
04:45This one.
04:46Yeah.
04:49And a super big one up here.
04:57Keep going.
04:58It's looking really cool, man.
05:00I'm not doing it bigger.
05:01Good!
05:01Well, the next one could be even bigger.
05:09Good!
05:10And then the last one actually gets a little smaller.
05:18Nice!
05:19Okay, now the next step is, let's draw his foot up here.
05:23So we're going to draw one line down.
05:25And then connect it back.
05:30Awesome!
05:31And then we're going to draw this foot back here.
05:33So line down.
05:34And then connect it back.
05:39Good!
05:40Okay, now let's connect all of the plates.
05:43So there's another row of plates behind the first row we drew.
05:47So there's that one.
05:48And we're going to connect these two.
05:51Then we're going to connect in between here.
05:55Same over here.
06:00Oh, this one's a big one.
06:04Awesome!
06:05And then one last one back here.
06:12Oh, he looks so awesome!
06:20Okay, now the very last step on eight is we're going to start drawing his back leg over here.
06:25So we draw one line down.
06:28And then another line back here that's kind of bent.
06:32So just a little bent.
06:38Now he's starting to look 3D, huh?
06:40Yeah!
06:40Okay!
06:41Now we're up here on step nine.
06:44And so let's finish his foot back here.
06:46So another line down and then connect it back.
06:51Good!
06:52And then we're going to draw his second front foot by drawing a line that looks just like the front
06:59leg.
06:59And then his foot that comes out.
07:02And then back in.
07:04Good!
07:05Now he's got some more spikes back here.
07:07So let's draw a couple more.
07:10One.
07:12Two.
07:13Two.
07:16And then since his tail's turning, we're going to draw the two other spikes that are on this side of
07:21his tail.
07:22I'm going to draw a little sideways V and then connect them.
07:26And then another sideways V and connect that one.
07:34Good!
07:35Now for the last part, he's got some wrinkles.
07:38So let's put a little wrinkle right here so it looks more like a dinosaur.
07:43So one right here.
07:44And we can do another one up here, a bigger one.
07:48And one on the back.
07:51And we can do a wrinkle on his knees.
07:57Now we can give him some toes.
07:59Two lines there and two lines here.
08:02And on his very back foot.
08:05Good!
08:05What's the last step?
08:06We're missing one thing.
08:07Like big spikes on his...
08:10He's got four awesome spikes.
08:12So you can draw like banana shapes coming out of his tail right here.
08:18Banana!
08:19Banana!
08:22Ha ha ha ha ha!
08:23Ha ha ha ha!
08:24Ha ha ha ha!
08:25Ha ha ha!
08:31Checkers!
08:32Good job man!
08:33You did awesome!
08:33Give me five.
08:34Super easy using these instructions.
08:36Yeah!
08:37Don't you think?
08:37Yeah!
08:38We kind of went fast.
08:39So our art friends can pause the video if we did go too fast.
08:42Yes.
08:43Yes.
08:44But it was fun.
08:45And we hope our art friends have fun too.
08:47We're going to leave it just like this.
08:48We're not going to color them.
08:49So that our friends can color their dinosaurs after this video any way they want.
08:55They can use markers or crayons or even paint.
08:58Cool?
08:59Yeah!
08:59Remember if your dinosaurs don't look exactly like ours, it's okay.
09:03Because what's the most important thing?
09:04To have fun!
09:05Yes!
09:05To have fun!
09:06We hope you guys had a lot of fun and we'll see you later our friends.
09:09Goodbye!
09:09Bye!
