People being conned, duped and blackmailed by their stranger friends on social media frequently make headlines, but this 20-year-old woman from Maharashtra's Nallasopara was allegedly killed by a Facebook friend. The accused Haridas Nirgude and the victim Ankita More became friends through Facebook. On Sunday, Nirgude had called More to his house in Nallasopara. After the victim reached there, he demanded sexual favours. When More refused, Nirgude killed her by strangulating her with a shoe lace and disposed her body in the nearby area.
