Appam is a very popular and traditional breakfast in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Srilanka. It is very good for health as it does not require much oil. Both Tamil Nadu and Kerala appam are totally different methods, taste and texture..\r

In Tamil Nadu, appam are soft and spongy in center and crispy border on outside, whereas in Kerala majority appam are fully white tender and lase like. But for both appams coconut milk is best combination.\r
