Although this disc is not in great shape and warped, by request I am uploading the reverse side of my previous post 'Helen'.Ted Brownagle is a bandleader about whom almost nothing is known today. The only fact I could retrieve is that it was an orchestra from Harrisburg, PA. They recorded a dozen of sides in the mid-20s. Personnel consisted of: Sam Trassi and Chester Brownagle, t; Jack Kling, tb; Ted Brownagle, leader, cl-as; Bob Hayes, Ed Schini and Harry Merkin, cl-as and ts; James P. Blade, p-a; Frank Huber, bj; Charles Sellers, bb, as well as Al Finney, d. This excellent one was waxed in 1928. The vocalists remained uncredited.
