For this installment of the Mixmag Lab series we were thrilled to welcome the unmistakable duo, Simian Mobile Disco, our May 2012 cover stars, who were joined by the exciting South London Ordnance.
James Ford and Jas Shaw, aka Simian Mobile Disco, have been tearing up dance floors across the world for many years. Their combination of techno and electronica has resulted in them becoming one of the most well respected electronic duos in the past decade.
This year Simian Mobile Disco will release their first live album since 2005. Simply titled 'Live', this original collection of live recordings will feature some of their most infamous tracks, combining a wide selection of SMD releases, past and present. The album will be released through their own Delicacies label and distributed through the seminal German electronic label Kompakt. More information on the release right here.
