AADHAR, PAN and OCI card - Requirements of NRIs, PIOs & OCIs

NRIs, Overseas Indians and a lot of Indian diaspora who lives abroad, this is for you guys. I want to finally put to rest a lot of rumours that are being generated in the west that all Indians who live abroad have to get Aadhaar cards made and they have to travel back and get these Identification cards made i.e. Aadhaar card. It is being said that It is vital must if you have properties in India. I want to put to rest all those rumours that are circulating outside and a lot of people that are calling to us whether this is true and what is the deadline they have. Let me start by saying that this is absolutely baseless. Aadhaar cards are only and only needed by resident Indian citizens. NRI’s, overseas Indians and people of Indian Origin who do not live in India or do not have an earning in India DO NOT NEED AN AADHAAR CARD at all for any purposes.
