Stockholm syndrome is filtered through sexual frisson in this portrait of a woman kidnapped by a man who holds her responsible for his grief. Anna Cooper (Kristin Scott Thomas in Gallic mode) is a surgeon who, years before, was cleared of the death of a woman following a simple C-section procedure. The woman's husband (Pio Marmaï) disagrees with the verdict and over time has hatched a plan to take revenge.
