The day one of the Cape Town test between India and South Africa was a rollar coaster ride for both the sides. Indian bowlers got off to a good start after being asked to bowl first in the first Test at Cape Town. Others well supported Bhuvneshwar Kumar led bowling attack. South Africa lost three quick wickets. However, they managed to put 286 with crucial contribution from the tails. But the South African bowlers also bowled really well and gave the visitors major blow as Indian openers went sent back into the dressing room at a cheap score. But the dismissals of Indian skipper Virat Kohli before the end of days play was the biggest set back. As the day's play ended Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma were at crease with India managing to stay at 27/3.
