Chanteur et guitariste Britannique. Sa musique pop aux accents folk rappelle notamment au début de sa carrière The Waterboys. Ses textes sont subtils, poétiques sans être ésotériques.

C’est surtout au Royaume-Uni qu’il est populaire, pays où ce type de voix est très apprécié (comme celle de Damien Rice par exemple). Mais des titres comme Sail Away, Babylon, ou Please Forgive Me (dont il est existe une version remixée avec succès par Orbital), ont eu un rayonnement plus important.
