Selangor police gave "subtle" advice to police officers and personnel in carrying out their duties in a light-hearted manner through a music video which has gone viral.
The video clip titled "Aku memang polis" (I am police) was uploaded to the Friends of PDRM Facebook page on Wednesday night and has garnered over 66,000 views.
Selangor CID chief SAC Fadzil Ahmat, who penned the lyrics to the song and is also one of those who sang it, said that the song advises cops to be stern when needed, and friendly and helpful to the people when the situation asks for it.
He said the production of the video clip did not involve any cost.
Among others, the three-minute 36-second song also reminds members of the force that they took up the career by choice, and therefore, integrity should be maintained at all times.
