Haak Austin's debut full length album 'Heathen Heart' is an eye opening introduction to this storyteller, with lyrics and instrumentation woven into an instantly fresh yet strangely familiar sound, like an old friend you haven't heard from in years.

Hailing from south-east Qld where he has developed quite the following, and associated with the alt-country genre, Haaks sound is actually a musical style that combines elements of folk, rock in all its forms, Americana, soul, country, blues, R&B and jazz.
