David Burke's debut album 'Where Colours Swim' reached No.1 in the iTunes Ireland Singer/Songwriter charts & was chosen as RTÉ Radio 1's 'Album of the Week'.
David loves combining music with adventure! His album tour sees him cycling the 32 counties of Ireland in 32 days, playing 32 shows!
He has busked his way from Dublin to New York to L.A. and guested with artists including Declan O'Rourke, Wallis Bird, Alabama Three, Kila, Paddy Casey, Mundy & the Hot House Flowers.
David recorded his album between Wales, London and Dublin. Highlights of the recordings include... • Staying up until the early hours writing music on the same piano Freddie Mercury played during the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' sessions. • Being a big fan of Amy Winehouse, he was delighted to record 4 songs with the string orchestrator & players from 'Back to Black'.
