Erin K is Erin Kleh and just a few years ago she picked up a guitar and began writing autobiographical songs that earned her a reputation in the London anti-folk scene.
Backed by her band, she performs a range of quirky, honest and heartfelt songs. She has developed her own style of folk, with songs touching upon subjects such as "friends with benefits", hybrid animals, missed communications and food. She performed at the London Olympics and Paralympics, and also played a solo show at the Edinburgh Festival. She has headlined many of London's must-do venues, including Union Chapel and Bush Hall. Her debut single, "Coins" was hand picked as Huw Stephens' BBC Introducing Tip of The Week. She was the first unsigned act to be played on Nihal's Review Show on BBC1, and has had airplay on 6Music with Tom Robinson, BBC London, Absolute Radio and Kerrang and was The Guardians' Band of the Day #1,111. She is currently living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
