Thanks is a six-piece band hailing from the rainy Northwest. Forming from a desire to merge the disparate influence of classic American soul and rock n roll with a modern electronic aesthetic, the ethos of the band from the beginning has been to focus on what each member does best: the driving drumbeats of Drew Sprouse and danceable baselines of Garrett Brown anchor Andrew Hanna's soaring guitar licks, Lilly Maher's growling cello melodies, and Noah Jay-Bonn's ethereal keyboard lines. Vocal powerhouse Jimi Hendrix, with her brooding lyrics and passionate voice, force any listener to take notice.
