I was a bastard are a trip hypnotic rock band. Inspired by psychedelic sound of rock'n'roll through electronic and experimental music.

The bastard's project has been around since 2011 when the person behind it –Nave Shifroni- independently recorded and published the first album "Free".
During the making of the album the band was founded and after a few changes and developments got to its current sound
and members.
The group released their first EP "in your great heart" in October 2014 at the InDnegev festival (the biggest alternative music festival in Israel).
The band's live act is a deep, powerful and emotional experience and known well in the alternative scene in Israel. The band is on their way to a second EP followed by a first studio album, and planning their first European tour in summer 2015.
