Barbara Silva, 24 years old, was born in Sao Jose do Rio Preto, state of Sao Paulo, and based in Boston, USA. Alumni from Berklee College of Music in 2013 - https://www.berklee.edu/
Barbara Silva is a singer with an international background.
While studying in the United States, Barbara had the opportunity to perform with distinguished names in popular American and Brazilian music, like Annie Lenox (UK), Carole King, Willie Nelson, Siedah Garrett, Marcos Valle, Guinga, Valerie Simpson.
Barbara Silva has music influences of Billie Holiday, Elle Varner, Marisa Monte, Alicia Keys.
She also had the opportunity to present "La Música No se Toca" with the Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, in the Latin Grammy ceremony in November 2013.
Barbara Silva's EP "À Tua Espera" was released in 2014.
With the song perfomed for BalconyTV Sao Paulo 'Conta Comigo' Barbara Silva was a finalist in the Jazz/Blues Category to 'The UK Songwriting Contest 2015'

Barbara Silva performed with her friend and guitarrist Felipe Pizzutiello in the Bourbon Festival Paraty 2015. Participated with the band "Super Soul" in the Virada Cultural 2014 and did shows with the incredible singer and performer Tony Tornado.
She currently lives in Sao Paulo, persuing her solo career, touring and recording her original music MPB, Soul.
