Sovint tenim la necessitat imperiosa d'etiquetar a les persones, de posar noms a la seva música i, per sort, són molts els qui s'escapen d'aquesta quadriculada mania. Entre ells, Pascuala Ilabaca. Una ciutadana del món amb un acordió hiperactiu acompanyada pels seus inseparables músics (La Fauna); una finestra oberta al folklore de Xile que ens convida a descobrir una música que beu de les experiències viscudes mentre recorria indrets de tot el món. "Rey Loj" és el seu darrer treball discogràfic que veurà la llum en els mesos vinents; un àlbum on parla sobre la relació que tenim amb el rellotge i la sincronització amb el cor, els somnis i els records.

Too often we have the urgent need to label people and their music, luckily enough lots of artists are able to scape the pigeonhole tendency. One of them is Pascuala Ilabaca. A worldwide citizen with an hyperactive accordion accompanied by her inseparable band (La Fauna); an open window to Chile folklore, a chance to discover a music inspired by all her experiences in places from around the world. "Rey Loj" is her last album to be published in the coming months; an album which talks about the relationship we have with the clock and synchronization with the heart, dreams and memories.
