JimmyDorothy is a multi-instrumental musical Project from North Lima – Perú, born in 2009. The sounds have colors of the New Trova, the american Folk, rock and pop, creating a mix to define the new independent music circuit in Peru. If we think in JimmyDorothy, we need to mention the use of acoustic instruments and the pop vocals, because this is the essence of their music.
This year, their song Andean Girl was selected by Red Bull Panamerika in the ¨Chicha Morada Mix 2015¨, as part of a compilation of the best independent bands of Peru. Also, he was selected by the mexican blog One Heap Wonder as one of the 20th most interesting proposals of Peru.
In 2014 they released their first material called ¨Niños Adultos EP¨ and a Split with ¨Los Migues¨ (personal project of the vocalist of La Ola que Quería Ser Chau- Argentina) check here: https://goo.gl/5BzugT.
