Lana Welsh is from the small town of Kuranda, and since her first guitar lessons from her Step dad at the age of twelve she fell in Love with music and the thought that just as Fleetwood Mac, Ed Sheeran, Angus and Julia Stone and many others before them had been able to bring wonders to the world. She too could share her dream and passion of music with the world. As she learnt the basics of Guitar she went on to teach herself the piano and began to find her own style as she wrote song after song which she performed at countless music competitions, festivals and school events. In the last year she graduated from tafe, having completed her Certificate 3 in music and now makes plans to move to Melbourne having been accepted into Collarts Bachelor of Music Performance. Lana is both influenced by the music around her and the unique life experiences she has undergone.
