MIMA Masayo is a singer born in Chiba. She did a solo live a cappella show on the street when she was a high school student. That led her to begin her music career. She made her indie debut in 2005. After performing as a solo singer and a vocalist of bands, in 2012 she resumed solo activities as MIMA Masayo for the first time in three years. In 2013, she released her first mini album "BRETH" and performed a successful one-man live show. In 2014, her second mini album "Kono-machi wo kirai-ni naritaku-nai" was released, and a one-man live show at STAR PINE'S CAFE, Kichijoji to celebrate her album release was a great success. In 2015, she periodically plans and holds events titled "SOUL LOVERS" at STAR PINE'S CAFE. Her attitude of trying to express herself fully and authentically attracts the audience.
千葉県出身の歌い手。高校生の時、一人アカペラ路上LIVEをきっかけに音楽の道を歩み始める。2005年インディーズデビュー。ソロ・ユニット・バンドと活動を経て、 2012年 3年ぶりに「美馬雅世」としてソロ活動を再開させる。2013年 1st mini ALBUM「BRETH」をリリース＆ワンマンLIVEを成功。2014年 2nd mini ALBUM「この街をきらいになりたくない」をリーリス＆吉祥寺STAR PINE'S CAFEにてレコ発ワンマンLIVEを大盛況に終える。2015年 吉祥寺STAR PINE'S CAFEにて美馬雅世presents『～SOUL LOVERS ～』を企画し定期的に主催。己のリアルを隠さずに、ありのまま表現しようとする姿勢は、見る人を引き込む力に満ちている。
