Petra Simone Acker is a singer and songwriter from Romania, with saxon origins, who loves to play with different music styles and to express herself, the best she can, through sounds and words. She plays with different musicians from Romania and Europe, who are a great inspiration to her, like all the lovely people she meets!
Music is a journey and Petra's songs are stories about her journey. Enjoy the tales you will hear and the moods and places she will take you to! Silver strings, human beats and nature's heart will all line the trip, matched to fit together like a puzzle you are going to solve.
Gospel, Rock, R'n'B, Electro, Jazz, Afro, Reggae have all left their mark on Petra’s sound. Add to that the hands of Albert Tajti (piano), the voices of Britta Seidner & Fabian Sasu (backing vocals), the beats of Robert Erdos (percussion) plus the strings of Michael Acker (bass) , and you get the unique sound of Petra Acker & The Band , rounded up by her own voice and guitar. Once part of Padina, Stufstock, Fanfest, Jazz auf den Wiedn-Viena, Peninsula and Coke Live, they are now at Balcony TV.
