West Palm Beach band Bonnie Riot, described by popular local magazine Broward Palm Beach New Times as female-fronted, danceable power punk, has made a buzz in sunny South Florida. The youthful musicians stirred a lot of attention as finalists in the South Florida Rock Showdown, and have happily been gathering loads of new fans with the release of their latest album Backbone.
Says the band: “Since forming in 2004 our music creativity has increased, our ideas are expanding and our sound is becoming a sound we would like people to remember. We believe that passion, fun and dedication is the key to creating music. With covers from the yeah yeah yeahs, to our own music, with lyrics about love, breaking up, and everyday life situations, it's an honor to share them with the world.“
