My cup of tea has just released their new album "storm" - 11 songs full of emotions. If you are expecting storm meaning that they're using wind machines and electric guitars, you'll probably be disappointed. the band is interpreting storm as a inner tension and conflict.
My cup of tea was originally a band of 5 members playing pop/rock. than down to 4 and after the drummer has left the band, to open a hostel in iceland, their now 3 musicians who are sharing the same enthusiasm of melancholic and acoustic music.
The bands name is an allusion to the proverb and some of the band members even like to drink that stuff. sitting on a sofa drinking a nice cup of tea, listening to their music seems to be a perfect match.
