Monda project was born from a wish of singing and playing the best knowings of Alentejo.
Knowings of word, statement, simple melodies that are in everybody’s mouth and that get a new body and a new interpretation in each of them.
Monda project was born from the willing of its interveners and from a new time that wants to be built as a place of sounds of a more evident and more human South.
In the breaks of its cultural and musical roots of diferente places and learnings there is a common place –Alentejo - a place of its origins and where the natural willing of singing and playing its roots is more and more a sureness.
It´s time for the world to discover the richness of so popular songs and knowings.
