“Leland Did It” is an experimental electronic rock project from Italy made up of five members around a desk filled with synths, wires and drum machines. What comes out of it is a mixture of new wave, synth dance and trance electronic.
The five members, Biondo, Sciorsci, Vittorio, Giuseppe and singer Michele float around the desk alternating on instruments like honeybees around their hive. The desk, funnily named “Cake”, is the heart of the project Leland Did It and a core element of its shows.
In March 2014 they released their first EP “Cake_Tales”, an entirely homemade work, with the band being involved in every aspect of the creative process, from the recordings to the final packaging. Their short debut has been launched on bandcamp and sold mainly through their live shows, counting more than one thousand copies sold.
In 2015 after several gigs around Italy and opening for UK band Factory Floor at FARM Festival, Leland Did It enter the studio to conceive their long-playing debut album.
On February 2016 the band is indicated as Reveleation Live by the national club network KeepOn.
On may 2016, “TEMPO” is officially released with the label Piccola Bottega Popolare, distributed via Audioglobe/The Orchard worldwide.
