Whisky Jarilla es un grupo de Rock de Mendoza, Argentina, que toca hace más de 10 años en la escena local. El grupo está conformado por Salvador Búcolo en batería, Martín Filas en bajo y voz, Martín Salatino en voz, Seba Ojer Prieto en guitarras, teclados, cuerdas, voz y efectos, Esteban Valdés en saxo, y Ale Cincunegui en violín y percusión.
Desde los primeros pasos como banda y hasta el presente, el grupo fue tomando forma mediante influencias varias de parte de sus integrantes. Desde Rock hasta Folklore, dichas influencias pasan por el Rock Progresivo, Punk, Grunge, Reggae, Ska, Stoner, Metal, que dio forma al estilo de composición que daría luego identidad al proyecto, y que más tarde derivó en la edición de los dos registros discográficos. El primero de ellos se titula ‘El Centro del Mar’, editado en 2015, y luego su trabajo más reciente: ‘Todos Despertamos’, publicado en junio de 2016. https://whiskyjarilla.bandcamp.com/
Whisky Jarilla is a ten-year-old Rock Band from Mendoza, Argentina, that has created an important bond between the local scene and the band’s message itself. The group consists of Drummer Salvador Búcolo, Bassist Martín Filas, Singer Martin Salatino, Guitarist and Keyboardist Seba Ojer Prieto (also plays String Instruments, Vocals and Effects), Saxophonist Esteban Valdés, and Violinist and Percussionist Ale Cincunegui. From the very beginning, the band has been shaping their own identity along with their member’s influences, drawing a line from Rock to Argentinian Folklore, beholding Progressive, Grunge, Punk, Reggae, Ska, Stoner, and Metal on its way. As a result, two LP’s released: ‘El Centro del Mar’(2015), and the latest ‘Todos Despertamos’ published in 2016. This material provides a full view regarding the message of the group.
