Gli Atop the Hill sono una alternative rock band di Bolzano fondata nel 2013. Caratteristica della band è la presenza scenica energica volta a coinvolgere emotivamente il pubblico. Il loro sound è influenzato da gruppi come Cage the Elephant, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys.
Dopo gli svariati concerti nei locali e club Altoatesini e Trentini, hanno preso parte a festival musicali importanti come l'Art May Sound e il Rock Im Ring.
E' prevista per Settembre 2016 l'uscita del primo EP, mentre è possibile ascoltare sulla pagina Soundcloud della band una demo registrata nel 2015 dal titolo "What Happens Next?" che alterna a testi più intimi e personali, riflessioni sui comportamenti umani e sulle scelte da prendere nel frenetico passaggio dall'adolescenza all'età adulta.

Atop the Hill is an Italian rock band from Bolzano, Italy, that formed in 2013. The group currently consists of vocalist Daniel Ruocco, rhythm guitarist Michele Larcher, drummer Filippo Zanforlin, bassist Marco Martini and lead guitarist Luca Pallaver. Matteo Neri served as the band's bassist from their formation in 2013 until February 2016.
The band's first demo, "What Happens Next?", was released in 2015 on their SoundCloud profile.
Atop the Hill are known for energetic live performances and for possessing an eclectic sound. The band's songs are influenced by classic rock, blues music, alternative and indie rock music from bands like Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant and Franz Ferdinand.
The first EP is set to be released later this year.
