Il Trio Mezcal nasce dal desiderio di fondere sonorità da mondi musicali, vicini e lontani allo stesso tempo. Un incontro tra l’eleganza del jazz con la profondità della musica arabofona e mediterranea; la forza delle percussioni di radice africana con l’imponenza di chitarre elettriche dal mondo occidentale contemporaneo. Un nuovo progetto Etno-jazz partorito nella scena musicale bolognese, che pone al centro l’incontro e la commistione proprie della nostra epoca cosmopolita.
The Trio Mezcal takes shape from the desire to blend sounds from worlds of music, both close and distant at the same time. A meeting between the elegance of jazz with the depths of Arabic and Mediterranean music; The strength of African root percussion with the imposition of electric guitars from the contemporary Western world.
