SEVVEN is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist, Rici Martins. After many years of being involved with other artists Rici has started a solo project called SEVVEN.
Rici went to his first piano lesson at age 7 and started guitar, drums and singing at 15. He also got into recording at age 15 and has since developed solid audio engineering and producing skills.
Rici has performed all over the world including multiple shows/tours/festivals (Joburg Day, Aardklop, Innibos and many more) across South Africa, 2 extensive USA tours with The Awakening, as well as France and Scotland (Common Wealth Games) with Naima Mclean.
Rici also spent some time in studio with producers Mike Gonsolin and Jeff Blue (founder of Linkin Park) in Los Angeles recording for an Original band Nova Rise. Rici has also worked with a number of top South African producers such as Mark Beling, Matthew Fink and Howie Combrink
