The national parks of America are due to close today, due to the breakdown of negotiations in the US House Of Representatives. Public services have been shut down, and this affects the climbers of America, as the national parks are also being shut down.

Parks such as Yosemite and Joshua Tree could close for up to 17 days.

To avoid having to leave, climbers are planning to get themselves up on the walls of the parks where the authorities cannot get to them.
